The NFL returns to London this weekend with the Minnesota Vikings hosting the New Orleans Saints at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The first of three London games in this season’s International series will see both teams attempt to protect their unbeaten records when playing in the UK, both having featured twice before.
The Saints will look to bounce back from their 22-14 defeat against the Carolina Panthers last week where they had zero points until the start of the fourth quarter.
The Saints, who have lost two and won one this season, have lost wide receiver’s Michael Thomas (toe) and Jarvis Landry (ankle) to injury against the Panthers and will be subject to review closer to game day. Quarterback Jameis Winston is expected to play despite ongoing back and ankle injuries.
On the other side, the Vikings, who have lost one and won two this campaign, are expected to have running back Dalvin Cook available to them despite him leaving their victory over the Detroit Lions with a partial dislocation of the shoulder.
The Vikings amassed a thrilling fourth quarter comeback to win 28-24 against the 1-2 Detroit Lions, secured by a 28-yard touchdown from veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins to Wide Receiver K.J. Osborn with 45 seconds on the clock.
The Vikings are also likely to see the return of veteran Pro-Bowl safety Harrison Smith after he missed last game with a concussion, with rookie corner back Andrew Booth Jr returning to training this week following a quad injury.
Despite the Vikings superior record this season, the Saints have the bragging rights in this fixture.
Running back Alvin Kamara’s record equaling six touchdown game on Christmas Day in 2020 was the last game between the two sides finishing 53-33 to the Saints.
Coverage of the game will be on Sky Sports NFL at 2:30pm on Sunday and on NFL GamePass (subscription required).
