From the most memorable acts of resistance to the mundane day-to-day living of queer people, how do we keep LGBTQ+ history alive and kicking?
On the rainy afternoon of the last day of LGBT+ history month, NWL joined the King’s Cross leg of Queer Footprints, a walking tour of sites representing vital leaps in progress for queer people.
I managed to speak to the leader of the tour, activist and author Dan Glass, and LSE Library Curator Dr Gillian Murphy, to find out how they – in their own unique ways – work to preserve London’s queer history.
